Final: BISON's PeerSim
Flashback: Anthill was discontinued in favor of PeerSim, which is a P2P simulator developed under the BISON project (Biology-Inspired techniques for Self Organization in dynamic Networks).
PeerSim was chosen to be the final tool since it is the most flexible and comprehensive among the four chosen ones, where certain important protocols were made available recently. The current version, PeerSim 0.4, contained a few enhancements and a lot of corrections seen in the previous version.
Right now I have successfully upgraded my PeerSim installation using the latest version. I was able to install and run two protocols, SG-1 and Immune Search which were topology management and search algorithm protocols, respectively.
Watch out for the other protocols!
